Beam breathed in relief at being released, but a second later, his deep breaths turned into high-pitched screams as Tephe’s claw pierced a part of his body.
“How do you like it, huh, little Phoenix?” Tephe asked angrily while pulling her claw out before adding, “Think you can get away with causing my friend and future sister great pain and almost killing her without consequence?”
As she finished speaking and without waiting for Beam to reply or give him a chance to recover, her claw fell again and pierced another part of his body, eliciting another scream of pain.

As Lorelie opened her eyes, she found herself in a place she loved and had come to call home.
It was the first place she ever shared a meal with Adam, though that meal only consisted of one thing, chocolate ice cream.
As she looked around, confused at how she got there, she saw the back of a woman who had long blonde hair and wore a lab coat sitting at one of the tables. For some reason, she got the feeling that she had seen her before.
“You know, I really can’t wait to be able to try this myself one day,” The woman spoke as if realising that she was no longer alone before she turned around and smiled at Lorelie.
“Princess Liluth Solar?” Lorelie asked in shock as she finally realised who the woman was.
“Hello, sister, we have much to discuss, you and I,” Liluth replied happily before taking a mouthful of the chocolate ice cream.
